29/10/2019

SoluRab has been certified by the National Institute of Public Health and it has been approved for contact with food.

We requested tests from the National Institute of Public Health, which tested SoluRab under strict conditions and exposed it to various temperatures, chemicals and experiments. Based on these tests, we can declare that:

  1. SoluRab is suitable for direct contact with dry food, unpeeled and uncut fruit and vegetables, nuts and dried fruit and vegetables. SoluRab can also be used for spices, cocoa, sugar, salt, flour, oatmeal, cornflakes or pasta, coffee, herbs or cheese with inedible rind. It is only suitable for dry and non-fatty foods on the surface.
  2. The National Institute of Public Health also approved SoluRab as a suitable secondary packaging (i.e. as a shopping bag or material to facilitate the handling of products in primary packaging). Therefore we have a certified confirmation that the products which you put into the SoluRab as a secondary packaging will be edible and without any problems.
  3. Foods which are not suitable for direct contact with the SoluRab material are beverages, paste and creams, oils, and food products that have fat on the surface (e.g. cheese without crust, pastry with fatty substances on the surface or animal products).
  4. More information is available on request, in case you have any questions please contact us.
